Barracuda (Sphyraena argentea); 1 all tackle record for a
Pacific Black Snook (Centropomus nigrescens); 2 line test
records for Blue Marlin (Makaira nigricans); 2 line test
records for Pacific Snook (Centropomus spp); 1 line test
record for Cubera Snapper (Lutjanus novemfasciatus); 1 line
test record for Bluefin Trevally (Carnx melampygus); and
finally 2 fly fishing records for Sailfish (Istiophorus
platypterus). 10 % of these of the Costa Rican records have
been established in waters around Quepos.
